年元月，一场严峻的全民“战疫”打响。杭州生活着多名外籍人士,面对这场突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情，他们之中的大多数选择了留在杭州，留在家中，与这座城市休戚与共。尽管外出的步伐受到了影响，生活也不如往常便捷，但他们乐观积极，为第二故乡杭州加油，为中国加油，共克时艰。

来自也门的安卡拉是浙江科技学院的一位留学生，他自发邀请身边的留学生一起拍摄视频为杭州、中国加油。他说：“我爱中国，在这个时候我很想为中国做一些事，但是好像我帮不了什么忙，拍视频为中国加油可能是我们唯一能做的事。首先我想向所有的医护人员致敬！我也由衷地感谢浙江科技学院留学生中心为我们做的大量工作，他们一直竭尽全力保护着我们。”
